This is a subsidy given when the applicant is availing a credit. A good example is the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) where the government is giving subsidy through housing loans to encourage the construction of new houses. Subsidy content will in absolute amount or as a proportion of the loan will be announced by the government in advance.
